　　我们可以说这张唱片有蜜糖一样美味。我有这张专辑已经有一段时间了，上周我又翻出来听听，看看为什么我这么喜欢它。打字这个当口，我在听她最出色的专辑之一。93年我一个最好的朋友将王菲介绍给我，我立即就迷恋上她了，她的声音真是不可思议。我对汉语是一个字也不懂，但是我知道她大部分歌词的意思。这张唱片真是太劲暴了！第一首让人神魂颠倒，第七、第八首是我的最爱，我也喜欢第十与第二首，都等不及她的新专辑了。这张专辑太强了，相信我这个不会汉语的牙买加人的推举吧！

　　只用一个字形容这张唱片：WOW！今年夏天我去中国了，我在我待的城市街角一个小唱片店里胡乱买了这张，之前一点不知道王菲是谁。多么幸运的发现！她太具创造力了！她避免让经验主义搅浑了整体质量与歌曲的连贯性。我向所有人强烈推荐，不管你是不是中国音乐爱好者。现在就去得到它，不管你用什么方式！ 4、新艺宝的某双张精选（1989－1997）

　　我买这套唱片前，除了知道王菲在王家卫的重庆森林里的绝色演出，一点也不了解她其他方面。开始我很失望，只有我之前听她翻唱的小红莓的Dream有点儿不一样的气息，都是些软软的流行歌。但是过了几首后，我一下变成了王菲的超级粉丝！她就是那么奇妙！你根本不必要住在香港，也能被她的歌声迷醉！这套唱片不会令你失望的！

　　第一次听到王菲，是在几年前中国乡下的一个出租车上。我要那个司机写下她的名字，花了很长时间才找到她一张CD带回家。就是这张专辑，我喜欢上了她的风格和声音。后来我又找到了《重庆森林》，不过你要是有心去找王菲，这个电影迟早你会发现。我要为她竖起两个大拇指！

　　这套双CD包括了一场王菲在红馆的演唱会现场录音，类似于精选集，展示了她的音乐生涯。在此之前，除了王家卫1994年的那部电影《重庆森林》，我对王菲一无所知。但是我确实对这套CD极为惊讶！ 
　　尽管我对粤语或普通话一窍不通，这套CD依然有很多美丽的音乐。王菲有着令人舒服、温柔的声线。我的最爱是天空、誓言以及执迷不悔。尽管有语言隔阂（因为是用汉语唱的），但这些歌曲是那么华美！ 
　　幸运的是，她还用英语唱了一些曲目，包括翻唱Queen的经典波西米亚狂想曲以及一首BonusEyes On Me，游戏迷们可能知道这是RPG游戏最终幻想VIII的主题歌。

     他只用了3个词评价了王菲的演技：FANTASTIC，UNBELIEVABLE，AMAZING，然后就一脸惊讶的说她会唱歌吗？？？当他听过后，就激动的问我在哪里可以买到FAYE的CD~~~

I didn't know how to name a part in which I can speak about Miss Wong's magic universe. 
I think that " Faye Wong " is general enough to allow each of you to discover what exists behind the singer, the exceptional one, Faye Wong. 

Thanks to the biography, you can discover her life and her carreer. 
Thanks to the discography, her work will have no secret for you.  
Finally, Thanks to the gallery, you'll conclude that Faye is not only a brilliant singer ^^ 
But, I have to say that Faye is finally not this image.  
 What makes the difference between her and other artists, is that she has two "faces" 
On the one side, she is a singer, certainly talented...but through it, what makes her so different from other women ? 
As everybody else, Faye has her moments of blues, her temporary angers or her mindless schemes. 
Faye sings magnificent songs, it's true, but often composed and written by others. 
Then why does the slightest listening of one of her tracks does immediately bring us to fall under her charm, to love her deeply and not to live without thinking of her ? 
After all, Faye has surely the "the most angelic" voice of the world, but is that that why she arouses so much craze?? I know some good singers who have sublime voices, magnificent melodies but nevertheless I feel nothing about their musics. 
Or then the feelings felt while listening of their tracks represent nothing with regard to the extraordinary moments you live when Faye's tracks resound to your ears!! 
For those who don't understand what I mean, let me try to analyze what I can feel when I listen to tracks like " Fly ", " You' re Happy, So I' m Happy " , " A Little Clever ",  
" On Time " and others... 
Without forgetting the fabulous " Undercurrent ", the saddest song of the world...  

 Often, I've regreted discovering Faye, in particular because of the "Homesickness" (yes, it's possible) that I felt as soon as I stopped some hours to listen to her tracks. 
I Know that it's going to seem completely stupid to feel depressed because of a voice and a music, but objectively, I can assure you that it was real and it often pissed off me. 
In brief, what you can (or must ?) conclude from this short page is that Faye's universe should not be underestimated...If you're aware of this,  
then the music can plunge you into a magnificent world. 
The only advice i can do is to enter Faye's world and especially not take her music for something commonplace, that you listen to, to escape some minutes. 

So, that's done, it's said, I hope that some people can understand my thoughts and feelings...Then, I will not have been completely useless

I was drawn to this singer by the song featured in Final Fantasy VIII (which is an excellent game for those of you who haven't played) and I just loved this CD. I strongly suggest it to anyone!

I was a bit surprised at this one. It is very easy to dismiss this one as MOR/Folk etc..but the more I listen to it the more it grows on me..almost like Jagger/Stones doing a bit of country music ie.,Let it Bleed era. Very pretty songs as always..plus the disco/tabla Indian flavored number w/ her daughter gurgling etc. Cute sounding kid! Not my favorite but always a cut above anything else out there. Sting..watch your back as far as Pop diversity..this girl is on the prowl! Still highly recommended!

I bought this album about a year ago and I still play it very frequently! The thing is, you just won't get fed up of listening to her records! Her techniques and versatility are stunning! Track no.1 (Love Life) is very Maniac Street Preachers! It's great and is certainly a pleasure to listen to! Song no.2 (Face)is definitely the best! Her voice is brilliant, and the track won the Best Lyrics Award last year! The 3rd track (Sex Commandments), is again, performed with a different style. The song is wicked and somehow beautifully morbid! It was selelcted as one of the best 10 records in Hong Kong last year! Trust me, the first 3 tracks on the album are enough to satisfy...The front cover of the album is stunning, take a look and you will know why! To me, listenning to her songs is a whole new experience, and I am definitely looking forward to enjoy her upcoming works! EXCELLENT!

This album is undoubtly one of the best Faye Wong albums ever. The new album 'Only Love Strangers' is ground breaking but this is a classic. The first track 'Love Life' is arranged very unusally with electronic hip hop rock and the talented voices of Faye wong vocals. The only love ballad, which is rather strange for Faye Wong and espeacially canto pop is 'Red Bean' or 'Constant Returns' on the cantonese 3 track bonus disc. 'Red Bean' follows the genre of 'Its a Date' and 'I don't want that Either' on Faye's previous albums. Its better than the formers but this track is especially emotional with the Lin Xi's lyrics. The track 'Fly' is refreshing to listen to. 'Little Genius' is rather specatcular with its syntesis arrangement. I love 'Love Boundary' on teh bonus disc its very mystic and trip-hip- hop rock and very much like the track 'Mystic Road ' on Faye's 95 album Di-Dar. 'Childhood' is wriiten by Faye Wong and so is 'Love Life. 'Childhood(tong)' features Faye's daughters Tong's voice and is a dance track. Overall this is a fantastic album like no other canto pop album and unlike any other asian artist. MUST BUY for fans and alike and a great intorduction to Faye's Music.
